Machine learning algorithm developer

HATS is looking for a machine learning algorithm developer who will work on human-centered command and control software for concurrent real-time management/supervision of multiple semi-autonomous systems.  The algorithm developer will implement and test machine learning algorithms for robotic applications, specifically those supporting robot autonomy and human-autonomy teaming.  Other required abilities include researching and learning new domains (e.g., human factors, aerospace) and using new technology (e.g., data mining, bio-sensor inputs).

Minimum qualifications include:

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.

 

Senior software engineer

HATS is looking for a senior software engineer who will develop human-centered command and control software for concurrent real-time management/supervision of multiple semi-autonomous systems.  This senior engineer will work on the entire software development life cycle, spanning from conception to implementation and operation.  Other required abilities include software project management, including defining, delegating, and tracking software tasks.  The engineer must also be able to learn new domains (e.g., human factors), use new technologies (e.g., machine learning, data mining, voice interfaces), and interact with a diverse group of multidisciplinary professionals.  Prior familiarity with any of these areas will be considered a plus.
